Meet Me, David

I started performing PC work on a casual part-time basis from 1991. Throughout the nineties I continued to hone my self-taught PC skills by providing support to about 10 to 12 regular clients amongst others, with nearly all clients getting in contact with me by word of mouth. In 1995 to 1997 I attended the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, where much of the formal basis for my PC troubleshooting skills were realised. As is the case with a lot of IT enthusiasts, a lot of the actual troubleshooting of PCs was learnt outside of university in tandem with the course. In addition to the casual work, I worked for a major hospital in IT/Information management roles. I do not work full-time but rather operate on a largely part time basis. My other great passion was Tennis Umpiring. I worked as a professional umpire between 1990 and the year 2000. I worked most notably at the Australian Open in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2000. I also officiated at the 1999 Davis Cup Tie between Australia and Russia. After ten years I retired from Tennis officiating. Now I can devote a bit more time to my IT work and stand ready to help people with their IT issues. Given my over 25 years of experience I hope that you will be confident that I can handle your IT issues with due care and skill.
